Authors Note of First Draft Letter to the Editor

This is my first draft of my letter to the editor. As of now, its lacking in length and this is what I am worried about.  Its hard to drag something out when you have your point across in just a few words. I feel like this is a strong start to my letter to the editor but it is a work in progress. I need help with punctuation and making sure that I am following the directions to the assignment. I need help with the continuation of this piece and want to know if I am getting my point across as well as if it is interesting to other readers.
