HW 3/30

   As we begin a new section in English 20803, I always feel uneasy about the topic. For the most part, it takes quite a while to make a decision on anything I do but I feel like my decision making in this class has gotten worse. As I looked for an argument going on in the community, an editorial over the famous "Octomom" appeared and I thought it would be just perfect to use. Not only is this issue full or drama but I believe it would be interesting to write over. On the downside though, I lost the article I found in the last session of class. 

   I had to find new articles but none of them fit perfectly into the argument I wanted to make on if it was right to be able to have that any babies (which I can no longer find the article of). I keep going back on two new articles though. The first article is from the Dallas Morning News and it questions what the community should do with all of the leftover-frozen embyros. We could be like Nadya Suleman and impregnant ourselves with all 6 eggs so that none are left over but I believe that the majority of the population are fine with just a few children in their lives. Therefore, should be keep all of the leftover-frozen embryos or do away with them but then the question arises on if abortion is taking place or not. 

  The second article is a letter to the editor titles, "15 (or more) Minutes of Fame."  This is referring to how Octomom just wanted to have 8 children for the fame and receive an expensive home and personal care for the children. It is pretty much stating that it is ridiculous to put a child's life at risk just so an individual can have the fame like she has always wanted. Therefore, Octomom is present in both articles but Im not sure on which one pertains to the community more.
